FINCH v NURSE AT D-LEAGUE ALL-STAR GAME
02/03/2010

Team GB coaches Chris Finch and Nick Nurse will go head to head at All-Star weekend in Dallas, as they take charge of the West and East D-League teams respectively.

Finch's selection acknowledges the flying start he's made to his D-League coaching career. His Rio Grande Valley Vipers are currently 20-6 for the season - second only to Nurse's Iowa Energy, who are 22-6.

This will be the GB assistant coach Nurse's second appearance appearance as a D-League All-Star Game coach - he took charge of the West in Phoenix last year.

Last month, Finch revealed that coaching in the U.S. had improved his skills.

"It is making me a better coach because of some of the things we have to do here we don't have to do in the European game.

"Coaches micro-manage the game more here which helps your in-game coaching decisions."
